Only just got back from the evening's frolics and would like to thank all the people who turned up to the presentation tonight. As well as the winners, it was really good to see a lot of the Lounge Bar posse turnout in force as well as all the White Hart Bulls players. I must say that there was a bigger turnout than i expected so that was a very pleasant surprise and thanks to Mr Lane for being the master of ceremonies. Also it was good to see Mr Moyle take his 'cock' in good spirit and walked up to collect his accolade with a chorus of 'cock' being shouted out by everyone else - comedy gold. I even got to achieve a lifelong (well at least 3-4 months anyway) ambition and got to wear the magic hat...i believe there are talks ongoing looking into the possibility of selling replica magic hats on this website, would make an ideal Christmas present for a loved one! I did indeed have a little idea for a new trophy. Partly hat inspired, partly alcohol inspired maybe.

I intend to create the Hatman's Heroes Award! Basically the idea came from my own fame status achieved through defeating an Eagle (the unfortunate Tristan Prigg, wasn't his last loss that, poor guy) in a match early last season. It was considered exciting and new so I thought I wonder what other interesting tales of heroics happen during the season? Perhaps a player has shown amazing resolve to come back from a near 8-ball defeat to take a frame, perhaps a team shows particular resiliance in defeating a greater foe (*cough* Stags beat Eagles *cough*), who knows what other amazing things happen during the year. That's why I thought we could get those stories together and through a process of voting or such a winner could be decided with the lucky indivudual(s) being awarded the Hatman Heroes trophy proudly sponsered, and probably presented, by me.

Ideas, thoughts and insults to the usual address please. :-D
