Sharks defeated twice in three weeks!!! I bet after winning last week you thought it was just a blip but now every single unbeaten record the Sharks had, has now been smashed. I believe a 100% home record was still in tact UNTIL last night.

Two 7-4 defeats, I think you can say that the title is over. The reace for 2nd is well and truly on!

Well done to Tyacks for returning to winning ways. Not the easiest place to go and play after being defeated at home by the Bulls.

Not at all surprised to see no posts from any Sharks on here though. Only ever seem to pipe up when they're winning!

we lost to the better team but rest assured we will bounce back again next week we are a strong team and have proved that we are real title contenders for next season if we play to our full potential.

Let's not forget that you win nothing over half a season and i think it's a bit early to say that you're real title contenders for next season or even that you're out of the title race this season, a lot can change in a couple of months (or even 3 weeks!). As for the 'win as a team lose as a team', sounds good but i didn't see a great deal of support on Monday night for Mr Charman in the Final.

PS good to see the Sharks being on the receiving end of the banter for a change!

Well said `The Great White` shows u listen to old Broadnose...yes the Sharks had a FINtastic first half and other teams are ready for us this half so will be a challenge for us but we are enjoying our pool and contributing to the atmosphere and banter in this league which has a good standard...we were beaten by a good side last wednesday allthough the result couldve gone either way at 4-4...it`s all about gaining experience and making steady progress...LONG LIVE `THE SHARKS` !!

Well said Broady and Troy! Yes we may have lost 2 games so far this season but we are still sitting comfortable in 2nd place aint we!! Maybe these slip ups have cost us the chance of winning the league but i can recall some comments at the start of the season which said us sharks would be lucky to finish in the top 4? Well that prediction looks way off the mark now does'nt it!! The team will be more than happy to finish 2nd in our first year in the league and it will be even a sweeter feeling finishing above the bulls!! The sharks are still young and still learning but give them a year or so and they will show they are going to be 1 hell of a team! SHARKS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd will be a great effort, considering it's your first season......however, you don't get anything for finishing 2nd!!! nobody remembers the losers!!!

No doubting that you lads have had some impressive results so far and it will be a good debut season if you do manage to hang on to second spot. A real test of your team now though, after a couple of defeats in a short space of time and 'player unrest' rumours. Sink or swim time for the Sharks! Just like the aggregate, the final league table never lies and teams deserve their finishing positions over the course of a season.

However, as for honestjon's comment of nobody remembering a loser, true in most cases but how about Eddie the Eagle? Or Eric the Eel, Audley Harrison, Devon Loch... Even Tim Henman or Jimmy White come to that! Sometimes it's better NOT to have people remember you losing!!

P.s - it's my belief you get a nice shiny new trophy and a tag of 'best of the rest' for finishing in second spot... Unlike the other league of course!!!!!!!
