You do indeed get a trophy. You get a bigger one if you win the whole tournament and i see you're playing the reigning champ in the next round.

Nope, Tris beat him 5-4 in the Final after trailing 4-0.
well i look forward to a good game of pool then
If only I took Mr Clift out, would have made for an interesting competition. With the 2 favourites out in the 1st round.
There were a few shock results I have to say. Well done people.
i heard that ur game ook an hour and half and u was 2 nil up clifty must have dragged it right out
I dont think it's a case of dragging it out. I'm sure Mr Clift will agree himself, he didn't play his best pool last night. And no I wasn't 2-0 up. I was 2-1 up at one point (that was helped but a cracking premature pot on black but Adam) and in the 4th frame (I have to say) missed an easy chance to take the win but an absolute shocking shot lead to pushing the black further in the pocket.
I had my fair share of chances, and like in most sports, gotta take them when they're there!
Yes well done to all for getting through, i have to say well done to shaun wills he played a blinding game - two great clearances from nothing with the black ball over the pocket twice. I would take my hat off to you but im not wearing one ;-) sooty
cheers simon i got to admit its the best i've played so far this season and i was pleased with the clearence in the final frame to take the match.
