on the grapevine i hear that the sharks claimed 4 points last night when leon had two players there to sign on who had 1)not played for a team before and 2)were refused to play.What makes it a little disapointing is players have always been allowed to sign on the night within reason that they have not signed for anybody else over the season.now what dissapoints me a little more is that the sharks came over to us but did not even mention about this scenario after the game where 4 points were claimed.In my view these points were claimed falsely but hey ho if you want them that much then carry on.we signed martin bray on the night to play for us,does that mean we should of given grenville the points????i think not,.it makes it worse that there was two players there ready to play and not that they were two short.Sharks if ive got this wrong then im sorry and murphs its nothing personal buds but i find it a little hard to believe.

I think you'll be somewhat surprised if you knew what we did last season against them but believe me, it wasn't claiming points, quite the opposite in fact but that's by the by. Anyway with regards to last night, the story circulating is that when a couple of their players couldn't make they were going to register and play two people on the night who were at the pub and prepared to play. If this is not the case then as you say, you've done nothing wrong so not a problem and it's all done and dusted anyway. Shame they only had four players but at least it's not a common occurence this season as for all their other games they had more than six. I blame the silver-haired Adonis for choosing to watch the mighty Palace instead of playing pool!?!

this is ridiclous we has already finihsed the singles and were on the trebles wen he said can we play there captain came up to paul and said we only have four players and 20 mins later said o we have found players now. thats like us saying we only have four players but half way through said we found players and want to start the mtach over again

Right lets set this story straight!! Leon came up to me and said that he only had 4 players there at that time but john fisher and another player could be turning up.I turned around and said i was fine with this.We played the 4 singles and went on to play the doubles. After the second doubles match had finished leon said he was forfiting the other games which was not played except one trebles match. The card was signed by myself and leon before the captains game started.After the captains game had finished leon came up to me and said he wanted to sign these two players on so i said go and phone adam to register them on. He then wanted to retract the games he has already forfited which i was apposed to as some of my team had gone coz the match had already been decided around 20mins earlier.I never said he could not sign these players on at all and to be fucking honest this has really fucked me off!!! We go out to play a game of pool to win but also for fun.I dont like claming games but it seems to me that coz us sharks are doing so well at the moment it looks like we are a target just like red jackets have been and someone is trying to upset our side! Well if thats the case im sorry to say that you are pissing up the wrong tree as we are a very tight group and we have great team spirit! you can choose what you want to believe.Just one last thing before i go if you are reading this leon then you can fuckoff you shit stiring wanker!!!!! Im sorry if this has offended anyone but i am not going to sit around and have mine and the sharks name throwen in the dirt by some twat!!! If you are a captain of a side in any sport you defend your team thats what your role is as well as keeping team spirit going and if leon thinks hes gona upset the sharks with this kind of crap then your a bigger mug than i thought!! Well i'll be honest, i think the comments aimed towards Leon are out of orderand way OTT. It's my belief that there may have been a misunderstanding as it wasn't just Leon who thought this - does this mean that other people should be abused? So all this anger because he thought you told him he wasn't allowed to register players on the night? As for bringing up past arguments he had to try and back up an argument is uncalled for. We could all bring up occasions where people have upset other people and i can mention stuff right now but what's the point? As the committee and a fair few of the league players know, Leon has done a hell of a lot for the league before by keeping his team in when it would have been easier to just fold them halfway through a season and so if we're going to say bad things then it's only fair to mention this as well. Leon didn't ask for any action to be taken, he just wanted to know about not being able to register players. This isn't me taking sides, i don't doubt your story one bit Mr Murphy sir, this is just me stating that abusing people on the website isn't constructive. As i said before, it seems to me like a misunderstanding that has been blown out completely. If we're going to abuse people whenever someone isn't happy then it could get very busy on here! And seeing as we seem to want to get personal about people then let's not forget when a member of my team was called a cheat before by someone (who we won't name) and then that person refused to shake hands with our player for a couple of matches after. If we had the website then do you think we'd have all gone on the website slagging people off? Did we go around complaining about the good name of the Eagles? Let's not over-react here for christ sake, no one's going round saying your cheats. You have all wildly inflated and speculated over something which most of you are not directly involved in and have made some really hurtful comments.

Murphy if you are upset over a situation then you should speak to Adam or Leon, not go shooting your mouth off on here which allows everyone to blow an innocent question made by Leon (checking about signing players on) into an epic slagging off. Leon and John were both really ill on Wednesday but turned up to play anyway. We were expecting the others and were let down by them on the night. If we knew we only had 4 players then of course we would have rearranged the game. I apologised to the sharks on wednesday night that they only got to play against 4 players but I would not have bothered if I knew you were going to be assholes as opposed to adults.

Sort it out chaps. There is no point in playing in a league that does not have respect for its teams.

Like i said in an earlier post i have put my hand up and sent an apologey to leon for my comments which now that i have calmed down and realized they were totally wrong! Maybe if people got thier facts right in the first place before posting messages on here for people to read then maybe this kind of situation would have not come around and for tempers to flair! Leon and myself know what really happened that night and as far as im concerned this matter is closed and does not need bringing up again.

If you re-read Mrs McGuire's message then i think you'll find she was referring to your comments on here and not about you being assholes on the night. Your post appears to have backed up what she said. As for you saying that you can't expect other teams to do what you've done with Tyacks B, what exactly is it that you've done for them then?
