THE RED JACKETS BEATEN!!!!!!

WELL,WELL,WELL the tyacks boys have upset the champions once again!!!!! In every sport someone or some team have a boggey team and the tyacks A seem to be the eagles boggey team! Could this be a blip in the eagles season or are there cracks starting to appear in the eagles armour? Also Mr clift a big well done to you and your vipers side for winning the super league this year!!

Re: THE RED JACKETS BEATEN!!!!!!

T'is true, we got our botty's spanked by Tyacks again and deserved it as well. Would've much preferred to have beaten them obviously but it might just give us a much-needed kick up the backside and help the boys to focus more. On the back of a cracking Vipers win last Friday it went flat last night and we paid the price. Some good quality play in patches, Gerbil cleared up from the break against Chris Wills but then they met again in the last section where this time Mr Wills repaid the compliment and cleared up from the break against Gerbil! Special mention to Tyacks' Keith Barker as well, he beat me in the first section and then beat Garry Potter in the deciding frame and played some great pool. The league could be a lot closer this season which would be good...so long as Red Jackets win it in the end!

As for the congrats on Inter League, thanks for that but the job's not complete yet, finishing top of the league only wins us a place at the National Finals in Yarmouth, we've got the top 4 play-offs on sunday to decide who wins the cash so onwards and upwards.

Re: THE RED JACKETS BEATEN!!!!!!

Fair play to the Tyacks side - again. Carry on playing like they're capable of and the league could well be a lot closer this year. They do seem to have a bit of a hoodoo over us at the moment! Although I would say that overall we didn't play anywhere near as good as we can (or even normally do) play, you can't argue with facts. And the simple fact is, they've beaten us 3 times in the recent past when most other teams have not managed it at all! So congrats to them for that. Also, Keith Barker's frame to win it is worth another mention, from a shaky beginning he held his nerve well and finished with a decent dish at 7-7 against Bally, great win for him and the team in general.

Shame!!!
