Only just realised looking at the Winter 06 season stats, but out of the 32 8 balls that season (impressive enough), half of them emanated from the Eagles!! Even more impressive, 2 players were responsible for over a third of the total number of 8 ballers that season - take a bow Bally (with a staggering 7) and Clifty (with a decent effort of 4). Well done lads!
Those 2 have surely got to be amongst the front runners again for number of 8 balls this coming season? Will there be as many as last year? Who will get the first of the season and when? And will they be a bit more evenly distributed between teams/players this time round???
Just as an aside, compare the stats to the 'other' league's total number of 8 balls last season, and then bear in mind that the 32 were all from the break only, proper 8 balls if you will. Hmm...
