Cornish Masters
How come no Red Jackets players attended this years Masters? Myself and Moyler took the trip to Bodmin this year to have a go, along with Joe and Mikey Faulconer. Was good to see the set up, altho it took ages! Moyler lost in the Prelim Round 5-4 to Nikki Moore (ooops), Joe lost to Rod Burrows 5-0 in Round 1 (with several tantrums), myself and Mikey won 5-1, my opponent was young Troy from Redruth RBL, think Mikey beat someone called Nick Williams?!?! Maybe. Anyway our journey was somewhat halted in Round 2, me losing 5-2 to Rod Burrows after taking a 2-0 lead (I have to say he seemed to change his game after going 2 down) and Mikey lost 5-1 to Jez Graham who I'd heard rumours about being a classy player and looked to be a fav for the comp.
Some other noticable failures, was that of Stuart Baker (Vipers very own) and Russell Moore both crashing out at Round 1 (I think anyway)

re: Cornish Masters
Can't really say i fancied it. Been to the event before and it just drags on and takes up the whole Sunday, couple that with the 10 sundays away playing county, it's just nice to have a few weekends away from pool. As for the others, Bally is away in Cyprus and Robbie was in Plymouth for the weekend. Sounds like Mr Burrowski flied the flag for the Vipers. As for Mr Baker, he's saving himself for the big Vipers game coming up!

Any news or rumours on who won the comp?
I must say the day could have been quicker if it wasn't for the smokers disappearing half way through their games for a quick smoke outside! Unbelievable! Was good to put a few faces to names that I'd heard of though.

Following on from speaking to Mr Burrowski - he lost 6-4 to Chris Edge in the semis and in the other semi, Jamie Zambuni was leading Jez Graham 4-0 when Mr Burrowski left.
