well done the 4 of you who got 8-ballers last night - I'm well impressed!

I trust you're aware that the one by Robbie, Bally and myself was in the trebles so we didn't actually get 3 separate 8-ballers. It was quite strange just playing 2 shots and being involved in an 8-ball clearance...needless to say though that my 2 shots were the most important in the clearance!?! As for Paulo clearing up, the old boy must be due to retire again any time soon for about the 12th time in the last 2 years!

I was wondering if doubles and trebles would be included if an 8 ball was done but as you say, how do you deserve a trophy for 2/3 balls?

So are you seriously trying to tell me that it's easier to get an 8 ball clearance in a game of trebles??? Myself personally and others i've spoke to would say that it's way more difficult in trebles as you're relying on all 3 of you to play well and also they'll put you in positional situations that you wouldn't have put yourself in. Also have i said that a trophy will be given for it? I was under the impression that i'd put it in the 8 ball clearance section as it was just that? Also Mr Moore, you're quite welcome to have a trophy for winning your singles, provided you finished 1st or 2nd in the aggregate...you're not playing against rubbish teams every week now son, you've got to earn your trophy! (or clear up from the break in trebles!). Anyway, i like the way the cricket club are getting vocal now they've won a few matches! (we must be due a message from Paulo again soon...it must be getting mear that time of year!)
