I went to The Cricket Club tonight and watched White Hart 'A' win the last two frames of the night to sneak an 8-7 win which also enabled them to pip Waggoners (who won 11-4 at White Hart 'B') by just one point. White Hart looked to be cruising at 5-2 but then fair play to the Cricket Club side who came back to lead 6-5 and 7-6 before finally going down by the odd frame. Hard luck to Waggoners for getting so close but their form at the start of the season (losing their first 3 matches) came back to haunt them - they can take comfort in the fact that now they're getting more familiar with the rules, come next season they'll be genuine title contenders.

Well done White Hart 'A', sounds like a good last evening! Will certainly be interesting next season/year. Kind of on the same theme, for my money Victoria are a decent side and I reckon they'd be in with a good shout of winning the 'other' league if they were in it. So, going on that, to see they finished two thirds of the way down the league in eighth place says a lot for the overall standard. With this in mind, congrats to everyone, team and individuals alike, who did well. Good first season Clifty, well done for organising it/running it.

the standard of this league has been outstanding. even though the bottom two sides faded out towards the end there were some big upsets this season which shows the strength of this league. also my congratulations to Mr Adam Clift. He and he alone started this league, and as part of the commitee for the league i think i can say on behalf of the players and teams well done buddy great job.

If anyone from the waggoners is upset I can categorically say it is my fault we did not win last night! so blame away!!

I’d like to thank Mr Knuckey first, if it wasn’t for him being a sad twat with his actions and strong gay views this league would never of happened. Just glad it did otherwise I would be playing in a below standard league without trophy’s, message boards, updates and banter. So thanks again Mr Knuckey, but if you need a player next season I’ll be very interested as I’ve heard you have a large amount of money stashed away for a rainy day or my wages.

Well said ...... I won't disclose your name just incase you were hoping to stay anonomous after such quality observation of the numpty that is Mr Knuckey but hey their loss!!! We have a quality league now in which Mr Clift founded, I reckon a bench should be positioned by the "POOL IS THE FUTURE" sign in honour of the good man (maybe when he decides to stop playing pool though)...
It's been a cracking season, although a frustrating one from White Hart's perspective but hey here's to next season where it can only get better.
P.S - I'm sure it won't be too long before sides from the dark side cross over! I feel like we are the PDC of pool (that's darts for those of who don't know) and the other league is BDO...
