Summer league White Hart?
if the oxford inn doesnt move into this league during the summer are you looking for an exceptional young promising talented player, with a great sense of composure and humour. with the odd bit of aggression and loss of head, who only ever seems to blow his big opporunity at county trials??

Gerbil is only in his mid-20s unlike me however who hits the big 30 a week today...and there was everyone thinking i'm only 21! (or is that my IQ???). So anyway Mr Tonkin sir, you're offering your services to the White Hart - it would be good to get a bit of rivalry going with you as well.

re: Summer league White Hart?
Joe is available to anyone willing to buy his services for a penny Mr Clift. I know the pimp line is one you've ruled out but surely you could take Mr Tonkin under yer wing and be his pimp. I mean, at 10% of a penny you'd be making enough to buy palace a decent team in no time.

Thanks for the lack of faith there Joe, give Griff a bell and get him onside and I reckon the rest will follow. I've already told them I'm going so if I don't have a team I could be looking elsewhere too. Don't want to leave the old team behind completely, Ivor hardly plays but you, me and Griff have been part of the old Trefusis side for years. Griff was up for it but I don't think he wants to move pubs. A few are moaning about the 15 frame format and that the eagles will win it so why bother. I just want to play in a well run league that has regular updates and has a good standard of pool. I mean we were mid table before the split and to be honest if the team hadn't hit the self destruct button against threemilestone two weeks ago we'd have vitually had this league won already. As it is we're 2nd by 2 but have a game in hand on both our closest rivals. A few of the sides are just not div 1. I always liked playing both the eagles ond the white hart anyway. Plus, Mr Clift is a mate so what the f*** am I doing wasting my time in the CRDPL? Ring Griff and get him behind the move before you go pimping yerself out again.

One final note is that as I'm gonna be a daddy again (2nd time) it might actually mean I have to re-evaluate my commitments completely and not play pool. Suzie wants to play to get praccy for cornwall ladies so I might be home with the boys :P

re: Summer league White Hart?
Mr Moore sir, i'm going to ignore the derogatory mention of Palace! Good length (i bet you don't hear that much!) of your post though, i didn't think it was ever going to end! Congrats on the second child, it can't be long to go now? With regards to Summer league, i'm positive that the format will be a maximum of 11 (yep i said 11!) frames for this league with a very strong probability of alternate (Scottish) doubles making an appearance as well for a bit of a change...this is great fun, give it a go in practice sometime if you don't believe me. The emphasis on the summer league will be more on fun with the serious business being in the Winter. That's the plan anyway. Before people think that we're trying to disrupt another league, i'd like to say that no trophy has been given out in the other summer league since the Summer 2004 season even though there's no financial issues stopping the purchase of trophies. So the only reason we contemplate starting new leagues is so that people are rewarded for their success, which is only fair seeing as everyone pays an entry fee to enter. Anyway, i appear to have gone on a bit as well so i'll quit now.

That is how doubles should be played!! its the best way i think. at least when u make a positional error u can then blame on your partner when he misses the next pot! :-) i still notice no comments have been posted from the WH! Griff would play in any league, but of course wont change pubs. maybe u could drug them you porn star dave! is that 1st devil(damion) baby taller than u yet u french cockeril! :-)

Yeh I did waffle on there a bit, sorry for that. As for the length I don't normally get any complaints ;) The post was intended for Joe anyway and as I've lost his email addy I thought I'd just as well post the whole lot on here. I'm already wondering who's least likely to leave me snookered in scottish doubles. Sounds like a great laugh tho I doubt any of our team would be talking to each other afterwards. :D

Yes Joseph, the cricket is still going ahead, I believe it starts in May, purchased myself a new bat for the season. As for the snooker & pool, more than welcome buddy, just let me know when you're back. And yes of course how can forget the golf challenge at Holywell Bay. I'm sure there'll be room for a trip or two!

re: Summer league White Hart?
Joe my lovely, can I throw my team in the hat as one who would welcome you. We will be without Mr Gee this summer so new talent will be welcome. We are going to have to concentrate this summer without relying on him blinding the opposition!
