Well it's the 2nd round of the singles comp tonight so i thought i'd try and predict the winners of each match, i'll probably be completely wrong but here goes:
Richard Ash to beat John Smejkal - really tough one to call as i can see either player winning it but i've got a feeling that Dick Ash is just going to sneak it.
Gareth Ball to beat Mark Moyle - have to go for my team mate here as i think he'll have too much fire power over 5 frames...unless his head goes of course but i think he'll win through.
Rob Goldsworthy to beat Dave Matthews - once again i'm favouring my team mate but it'll be a close game and if Rob's not 100% focused then i can see him losing.
Adam Clift to beat Alex Lane - well obviously i'm going to predict myself but i'm well aware that i could lose...but hopefully not!
Darren Jenkin to beat Paul Corin - a close one again but i've gone for Darren to win simply because he's managed to win frames in the league...unlike his opponent!
Mark Olds to beat Joe Bowden - if this was over one or three frames then i'd give Joe a 50/50 chance but over five frames i think Mark will edge it.
Mark Aleksy to beat Jon Simmons - an all Trickys tie and i haven't seen Jon play before but Mark looked a very steady player so i'm predicting him to win.
Rod Burrows to beat Paul Gee - this is by no means a certainty as if anyone could beat Rod then it's Paulo but he would need to be playing 100% with Rod below par and i can't see that happening tonight.
I've probably put the kiss of death on everyone i've predicted now but we'll find out later.

5/8. Very poor on two horse races with plenty of form available. 50 lines please by lunchtime Monday "I must try harder at predicting 2nd round results" otherwise its the cane for you.
