As some of you will be aware, the Red Jackets had somehow put a run together of 154 matches unbeaten (Wednesday and Thursday league) BUT after tonight it is down to 0! Waggoners came to Red Jackets in our re-arranged match and althouh trailing 2-1 they came back and after the scores were 4-4 there was no stopping them as they went on to beat us 9-6. Fair play to them and the better team most definitely won on the night. Now we've just got to bounce back and concentrate on doing enough to win the league (and then do the double by winning the Team Knockout as well).

A black day for the Red Jackets, 154 in a row is a impressive amount of wins in any game, shame it had to end.

I had to come into the forums to check that result was right!!! I'm shocked. Absolutely fantastic to see the Eagles finally toppled, massive credit to Waggoners, particularly doing it on Red Jackets turf as well. Not sure how that makes the table look but certainly spices the season up!
I think a mention to you and your team Mr Clift for retaining that record for such a time, it was frustrating to watch it go up and up...

yeah,think its shocked the pool world,that record will never be broken in our lifetime,wel done to red jackets for such an impressive record ant waggoners for ending it.could this now be a psychological blow for the rjs season??????...................i doubt it.

I woke up this morning hoping that i'd dreamt it but alas not! It was on the cards all night to be honest as we tried to out pot them...perhaps not the most intelligent thing to do against a team who can pot from anywhere on a 12 x 6 snooker table, let alone a pool table! Hopefully it won't have an adverse affect on our season but i've got a sneaky feeling that it could make us come back more hungry for victories to win the league. Ah well at least i won't have to see any of the Waggoners team for a while...oh hang on, wait a minute, i'm playing one of them in the knockout tonight! (oh joy!).

I54 AND OUT a fantasic achievement but there is a but -----not even making 1 whole season un beaten in this new league perhaps this shows the quality of the teams in this league compared to our sister league. if it means red jacket 's losing a couple a season i hope the level of play stays the same for years to come !!

Anyway, i'm not happy with the Waggoners side - they're the first side to get a 15-0 and the first side to beat us in this league...i wish they'd just p!ss off!
