R Goldsworthy v L Saundry - Again, 2 very good players and an early RJ/WH battle - always nice to see! This should be a cracker, in fairness Lewis always seems to play well against us so expect fireworks from this one! Will the Waggoners' table have an influence on the outcome...
A Clift v N Mutter - Clifty will be hoping to put his recent run of 'form' behind him ;-) when playing against Mr Unpredictable. Possible upset if Adam isn't playing to his ability...
G Pilsbury v J Smejkal (Prelim) - To anyone who doesn't know these two players and is new to pool, I wouldn't recommend watching this one. Their pool is like a tonic. To insomniacs...

Thank you Andy for your kind words. I must agree it's a tasty draw and the standard in this league is top notch so I don't think anyone's got an easy game. It's good to see so many taking part which makes for a good competition.
As for my 1st round game, going on previous match ups with Robbie Roy I only recall beating him once but who knows different table, different venue and thank fully a decent table of that.

Yep, will be a very tough competition and whoever comes through and wins it will have deserved it. With the first round onwards (not preliminary round) being over at least best of 5 frames it will certainly be a fiercely competitive competition. Looking at the draw, i'm sure there'll be some upsets and surprises along the way but it should be fun whatever the outcome.

Fun definitely except again, apart from the Doc v Rev match.
