well i have been looking forward to tonight for a while, and i'm just glad we won.... even though they weren't at fulll strength at the beginning
I kicked things off against jo bow, in which the the ever confident man said he was gonna clean me up at the start........ yeah right mr bowden sir not with your breaking ability!! joe pulled off some good shots but left me on when he missed and the rest is history as they say. next on was our youngster who quickly finished off miss mcguire in good fashion, then phil jose beat ben smith with some solid pool. then the bald eagle came to the table (paulo) and dished up our old man on a plate for them to record there first win of the night. Next on was daveyboy who played ccc newest signing m. luke good potter but didn't know the rules that well and it cost him his singles.due to the fact that Mr Corran Heard was playing in truro we claimed the 6th singles doubles was a disaster lost the first 2 and just won the 3rd. in the fisrt of second lot of singles ccc's corran heard made it back in time to play daveyboy. a close game but corran ended up losing from a good clearance from dave. then the bald eagle played lukester in which he grinded out a good result against the young one. then the biggest upset of the night for us robbo losing to joe bowden !!!! i thought it was points in the bag before the game ;-) . phil jose then had a long game with jo mcguire and ended up with phil taking the win. i played there new signing, i beat him by using the rules against him. the last match saw the much fancied keith green vs old man rocket ronnie d. keith had a good break but then lost his concentration and ronnie d had a superb clearance to win the frame.
