I think the rule of no talking in doubles and trebles is bullshit when it is your turn. Dont get me wrong i understand its there too speed the game up which I agree with but maybe one "timeout" in a game could be introduced where u can chat with ur partner for 30 secs, although i only wanted 10 secs to quickly speak with my partner. the reason i feel this should be introduced is that:
1) firstly you dont know where the the balls are gonna finish for when its your visit to the table so how can you chat and discuss options when your opponents are at the table?
2) if you break and end up potting 5 or 6 balls and get to the crucial bit, your kind of getting punished for potting so many as your stll not "allowed" to discuss the best way to go about the finish where as if you miss say the 5th ball u can then discuss the best way to finish.(hows that fair?).
i vote for one timeout to be called at anytime in a match for 30 secs!
